Here are some tips to get the longest life out of your garment:

1. Don't use fabric softener. The softener will break down wicking 
   capabilities in your athletic wear.
2. Wash bright colors alone before you wear them.
3. Wash according to care instructions (in most cases that will be 
   cold wash/tumble dry).
4. Continue washing bright colored gear with similar colors.
5. When wet, keep bright colored gear away from other fabrics.
